FWF Football (“we”, “the app”) is a private league for football prediction tournaments. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

  • Account: email address and password (the password is stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
  • Profile: your display name, optional short name, and an optional avatar image you upload.
  • Gameplay: your match predictions, points, and the tournaments you take part in.
  • Preferences: interface language, theme and time zone.
  • Telegram (optional): if you link Telegram, we store your Telegram chat ID to send you notifications.
  • Technical: an essential session cookie to keep you signed in, and basic server logs.

How we use your data

  • To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
  • To run the tournaments: leaderboards, head-to-head and cup standings.
  • To send notifications you opt into (e.g. via Telegram).
  • To remember your preferences.

Visible to other players

FWF Football is a shared league. Your display name, avatar, predictions (after the deadline) and your standings are visible to other participants of the same tournaments.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We use the following service providers strictly to operate the app:

  • Supabase — authentication, database and file storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
  • Telegram — only if you choose to link it, to deliver notifications.

Data retention and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → “Danger zone” → “Delete account”.

On deletion we irreversibly anonymize your data: your name, avatar and Telegram link are removed, and your email and sign-in are disabled so you can no longer log in.

Anonymized tournament results (match scores and points) are kept so that other participants’ standings and history are not distorted. They can no longer be linked back to you. Account deletion cannot be undone.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with our providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile in the app, delete your account as described above, and contact us to exercise your data-protection rights (access, correction, deletion).

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data on servers located outside your country. We rely on them to apply appropriate safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
